Here are informations on the process of the service, as well as my policies on things such as refunds and uses of my artwork. They will be provided again alongside a contract, when the client decides to commission me.

Initial Information
  • Prices given do not have commercial use in mind. If you want art that you will reproduce and/or have financial gain over, please inform it so prices and licensing can be discussed fairly.

  • I reserve the right to deny any commission requests; if you've already paid, you will get a full refund

  • If the commissioner is disrespectful, i reserve the right to provide a refund (proportional to the amount of work already done) and drop working on the commission.

  • Provide as much information as you find relevant for the piece. For a character, you may provide visual references, descriptions of the character's personality, and tastes.

  • Please, keep in contact during the commission process. I send plenty of updates and check before any new step or change in the art; if you take over 72 hours to respond to updates, the turn around time will increase greatly.

  • My standard turn around time for a piece is 1 month. If you have a particularly complex piece, i will inform in the initial stages how much longer the work might take. The same applies for particularly simple pieces, that i conclude will take less time. If you need the art in less than 1 month (or turn around time informed to you during the talking stage), for every week decrease in turn around time, i will up the price by 25%. If you want the art in a week, the price will increase by 75%. I will not compromise on finishing pieces in less than a week.

  • Please, inform me in the initial stages if you plan on printing the artwork.

Process
  • Contact me via e-mail. Instagram, Twitter or Discord are also fine, but e-mail is preferred. State the kind of art you desire, and provide visual references and textual descriptions that might be needed.

  • I will get back to you, and might ask more questions about your request. In this stage, we will discuss together details of the artwork, to guarantee you'll be getting what you want. Based on the discussion, the price will be set. Price will vary depending on the complexity of your order. I am open to (reasonable) negotiation; it might be possible to give you a simpler piece than what you initially intended, for example. As soon as we have an agreement, i will be sending a simple contract, re-estating the terms of service and the price. I will also be sending a PayPal invoice.

  • Also in this stage, I will ask if the commissioner prefers to remain anonymous, or be tagged/cited in posts made with the commissioned art.

  • I will make a few early sketches, exploring different ideas and compositions. As soon as a rough sketch is approved, i will wait for payment to be confirmed in order to continue working.

  • I will send updates in every step of the piece. I will ask for confirmation to proceed after each one. I will also ask for approval of any changes i deem necessary. I will only proceed working after confirmation.

  • As soon as the artwork is finished, i will send the original file (in .psd) and a high quality .png to your e-mail. If you want to print the piece, inform me so i can also send the artwork in a proper .pdf.

Changing/Editing policy
  • Any big changes, such as changes in outfit, perspective, position of characters, and any others that may require me to redraw large portions of the art will only be accepted during the sketching fase, limited to a number of 3. This counting starts after we settle on a rough sketch.

  • After inking starts, such changes will have a considerable fee.

  • During the inking stage, you can ask for up to 5 small changes (resizing of features, redesigning of small parts, small repositioning of props, etc.). After this, changes will have a small fee.

  • After coloring starts, you can ask for up to 3 small changes unrelated to color. After this, changes will have a small fee. Changes in color will be readily accepted during the flat painting stage, but will also be limited to 3 after entering rendering stage.

  • Any changes after the artwork is finished will have a fee.

Refunds

  • Full refunds will only be given if 1 - I deny your request, 2 - You request your refund before i start working on your piece, or 3 - I am unable to finish your commission in time, and rediscussing deadlines is not possible. You will not get the partial work if you request a full refund, in this last situation.

  • Partial refunds can be given during all stages, with the exception of the finished piece. The following percentages are given having in mind a fully painted piece. If, for example, the artwork we agreed on was a lineart, and you request a refund after said step is finished, you will not have a refund.

  • If requested after the final sketch is approved: 85%
If requested after lineart is approved: 65%
If requested after flat colors are approved: 50%
    If requested after shading: 40%
If requested in rendering stage: 20%

Payment

  • At the moment, i only accept payment in USD through Paypal. I do accept suggestions and information regarding the acceptance of other currencies through other means, but will not be implementing them unless clearly stated in future updates of this section.
